2014 – Notification of BEE National Certification Examination for Energy Managers and Energy Auditors

The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has invited applications for the 15th National Certification Examination for Energy Managers and Energy Auditors, August 2014. Interested yet eligible candidates may apply online on or before 23 May 2014.

The passing of the National level certification examination is the qualification for Energy Manager/Energy auditors to be designated as Certified Energy Manager/ Energy Auditors.

Important Dates;

  • Last Date for ON-LINE Registration and Submission of Application: 23 May 2014
  • Examination Dates: 23 & 24 August 2014 (Saturday and Sunday)

Eligibility;

For Certified Energy Auditors (CEA) Exam:

A graduate Engineer (Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology) or equivalent with three years of work experience involving use of energy in operation, maintenance, planning, etc. ; or

A post-graduate Engineer (Master of Engineering/Master of Technology) or equivalent with two years of work experience involving use of energy in operation, maintenance, planning, etc.; or

A graduate Engineer with post-graduate degree in Management or equivalent with two years of work experience that involves use of energy in operation, maintenance, planning, etc.

For Certified Energy Managers (CEM) Exam: Same eligibility criteria as per Energy Auditors; or Diploma Engineer or equivalent with six years of work  experience involving use of energy in  operation, maintenance, planning, etc.; or A post-graduate in Physics or Electronics or Chemistry (with  Physics and Mathematics at graduation level) with three  years of work experience involving use of energy in operation, maintenance, planning, etc.
