Organization’s profile:

IIT Bombay is undertaking a project in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering. The Project 13SOUL001 is on “Localisation of Solar Energy Through Local Assembly, Sale & Usage of One Million Solar Study Lamps by IIT Bombay” (1 Million Solar Urja Lamp). The position is temporary and initially for a period of 1 Year and tenable only for the duration of the project.

Job Description:

Pre-launch location survey. Monitor the NGOs and other district partners. Visit rural blocks and conduct survey after the launch of the project. Gathering data form primary and secondary information. Preparing the project report based on data collection, analysis, identifying the problems, solutions and conclusion. Salary- 27k to 42k consolidated.

Eligibility:

A Masters Degree with experience in interactions with local people, culture and language. Experience of working in rural areas with NGOs for more than 5 years in Madhya Pradesh.
