InsPIRE Network for Environment (InsPIRE) is a non-profit organization registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, working in the areas of natural resources management, energy and environment and climate change.

The assignment is of a short term consultancy with the candidate being required to travel and help out in implementation and environmental audits.

Job Description:

The project is on environmental Auditing of Institutional Strengthening of Gram Panchayat Project (ISGP). The Environment Specialist will guide the Environmental Audit mechanisms and methodology, Guide and supervise the effective implementation of the Environmental Audit, Oversee technical aspects including training of personnel engaged for survey, data collection, data entry and analysis and generation of reports.

The job will require travel to several distrits of West Bengal.

Eligibility:

Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with Diploma/Certificate in Environment Management/Environment Science with a minimum of 5 years of working experience. Experience of working in Panchayati Raj Institution will be an added advantage.
