Job Title: JRF in Department of Science and Technology (DST) sponsored project

Location: Ahmedabad

Job Description:

Applications are invited for the position of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a purely time-bound research project at Indian Centre for Climate and Societal Impacts Research (ICCSIR), Navrangpura, Ahmedabad. The details of the project are as follows:

1. Title : Investigation of the role of black carbon on aerosol radiative forcing over western India
2. Duration : Three Years

Eligibility:

Academic qualifications:

1. M.Sc./M. Tech. in one of the following subjects: Physics, Space Sciences, Atmospheric Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Geophysics, and Climate Sciences.
2. The candidate must have taken Physics and Mathematics at the Under Graduate level.
3. A minimum of 60% marks at Bachelor’s and Master’s level are required for all candidates.
4. CSIR/UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) is desirable but not necessary.
5. Basic knowledge of computer programming and digital data processing is required.

Age Limit: Not more than 25 years as on 31st December 2013 (i.e., born on or after 31.12.1988).
