Job Description:
Establishment of cultures and in vitro multiplication using various experiments and development of protocol for the mass multiplication, development of mini tubers from tissue culture raised plants and or micro tubers hardening, knowledge of plant tissue culture techniques associated to a micro propagation lab such as plant initiation, media preparation, micro propagation, indexing plants and quality control, test new and improved laboratory methods and procedures. Prepares laboratory notes, charts, and graphs; writes up results of examinations, training of laboratory assistants.
Eligibility:
M. Sc. in Biotechnology/ Microbiology and associated streams from reputed University. Salary Rs. 15k on probation and 25k thereafter.
