Organization’s profile:

GMR Varalakshmi Foundation (GMRVF) is the corporate social responsibility arm of the GMR Group. It takes up activities with communities around the projects taken up by the Group. The thrust areas of its activities include: Education, Health, Hygiene and Sanitation, Empowerment and Livelihoods development. The Foundation directly works with the communities.

Job Description:

S/he should be able to build and manage the programs in the field, Mentor a strong team of community volunteers at community level, Develop an effective communication network and build strong relationships with community stakeholders and NGOs, Monitor programs, report on project outcomes regularly and implement regular reviews, reporting, willing to travel to the field area in the states of Uttarakhand; Himachal Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh and Nepal.

Eligibility:

Master’s in Social Work or any other relevant discipline, with about 12 to 14 years of experience in a reputed NGO or similar organizations at a managerial position. Experience of working for a reputed CSR would be an added advantage. Ability to work in a team and excellent communication (written and verbal) in English and Hindi mandatory.
