Job Title: Project Officers / Asst. Project Officers

Location: Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh and Leh, Jammu and Kashmir

Organization’s profile:

Established in 1995, Pragya is a non-governmental, development organization implementing projects in the remote and underserved regions of the world. The organization aims to deliver integrated and holistic development projects in the areas of education, biodiversity conservation, renewable energy, agriculture and water management, women, and cultural heritage preservation. Pragya is currently operating in India, Nepal and Kenya in the global south and in the UK and USA.

Job Description:

Project Officers / Asst. Project Officers (posting: Kinnaur and Leh): These are field postings and the selected candidates would be posted in any of the field offices in the high altitude Himalayas.

Annual renewable contracts with remuneration varying from Rs. 180,000/- to 240,000/- per annum depending on the experience and skill set as assessed by the interview panel.

Candidates with experience may be placed at higher levels.

Eligibility: PG in Social Work/ Humanities/ Natural Resource Management.
