Organization’s profile:

IIT Bombay is undertaking a project in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering. The Project 13SOUL001 is on “Localisation of Solar Energy Through Local Assembly, Sale & Usage of One Million Solar Study Lamps by IIT Bombay” (1 Million Solar Urja Lamp). The position is temporary and initially for a period of 1 Year and tenable only for the duration of the project.

Job Description:

Coordinate with NGOs and other district partners. Maintain stock inventory at NGO and district level. Monitoring Raw material supply and assembly process, monitoring R&M Partners, tour across district to monitor the smooth flow of project implementation. Training to local rural community in rural locations and any other job related to project. Salary- 21k to 31k consolidated.

Eligibility:

Masters with more than 5 years experience in rural development projects. Preferred background: Worked in some rural projects in operational and research activities at block levels of Madhya Pradesh. Knowledge of GIS techniques, computer applications and proficiency in written and oral English communication skills.
