Job Title: Research Associate, iKOnet Research & Consultants Pvt. Ltd

Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

iKOnet Research & Consultants Pvt. Ltd, a development planning and research organization, involved in projects related to resource management, livelihood, public health, education, water supply & sanitation, urban development, opinion polls & rural market research requires Research Associates for execution of projects in India, Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Myanmar & Maldives.

Job Description:

Besides the domain expertise, the incumbent is expected to be involved in

  1. Design & Supervise field surveys using CAPI (computer aided personal interviewing) technique
  2. Periodic field visit for exploratory research (Qualitative & PRA techniques)
  3. Analyse quantitative data and qualitative data using statistical software packages
  4. Data interpretation (using dash board software), report writing and presentation

Eligibility:

Past involvement in donor funded or CSR project monitoring & evaluation projects.

Willing to enhance capabilities in research, learn state of the art technologies, travel in India and neighbouring countries. Must have flair for written & oral communication. Primary posting in Kolkata, prolonged stay in other locations in the Regional countries mentioned above.

Remuneration: Commensurate to the experience of the candidate
