Job Title: Research Associate, International Center for Research on Women (ICRW)

The International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) having its headquarters at Washington DC, USA and has been contributing towards Women, Gender related research in collaboration with leading International donor organization, Corporate companies, implementing NGOs and research institutions in over  65 countries.

The Asia Regional office (ARO) for ICRW located at New Delhi since 2007 supports programs in SAARC and  ASEAN countries in the region. The ARO designs and implement several research and technical assistance projects that covers thematic issues such as Violence against Women, Gender Mainstreaming, HIV & Gender, Economic empowerment and Gender, Youth related themes and many more.

Job Description:

The Research Associate will provide technical, programmatic and administrative support to activities within the project teams.

Research / Technical Support

Support Teams in working on research in the following area:

  1. Draft research articles and concept notes, conduct literature review, meta-analysis and assist in systematic reviews of published and grey literature.
  2. Assist in large scale quantitative data analysis and management
  3. Assist and undertake quantitative data analysis and writing
  4. Prepare first draft of the papers to be submitted for professional and peer reviewed publications
  5. Undertake other research related tasks as assigned by the project directors and Regional Director, based on team and institutional priorities.

Eligibility:

Master’s degree in a relevant field (Sociology, Social Work or Communication Course) with Research background. Familiarity with Research work in Women and Gender issues.

Experience: Two (2) to five (5) years post-graduate relevant Experience with process documentation of participatory methods and document research processes and findings.
