Human Development and Research Centre (formerly known as Behavioural Science Centre) is an initiative of St. Xavier’s Non-Formal Education Society (SXNFES), located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Established in 1977, it is a secular, non-denominational, voluntary organization that exists to facilitate the process of empowerment and human development of marginalized communities, particularly Dalits, Tribals, Muslims and women and children of these communities.
Job Description:
Experienced in research methodology (design of instruments, competence to manage research projects, including surveys, data collection, data entry and analysis, knowledge of SPSS and statistical methods), carrying out action research and studies to strengthen the advocacy led by marginalized communities and fund raising activity. Salary- 25,000
Eligibility:
Ph.D in Social Sciences / Social Work / Development Studies / gender studies / other related areas, 3 – 5 years of research experience, previous research publications.
