Company profile:

The Global Sanitation Fund (GSF) has selected India as part of the Country Programmes portfolio to implement a US$ 5 million fund aimed at promoting sustainable sanitation in rural India, with special focus in the states of Bihar, Assam and Jharkhand. The programme seeks to respond to fundamental challenges in the Indian Rural Sanitation Sector, is consistent with the core principles espoused by the Government of India (GoI) and the institutional and funding arrangements prevalent in the Sector, and, aims at influencing long-term, sustainable change. NR Management Consultants India Pvt. Ltd (NRMC) is the Executing Agency for GSF in India.

NRMC wishes to hire State Manager for GSF Programme in Jharkhand to lead programme management and relationship management with stakeholders.

Job Description:

  1. Represent the GSF programme in meetings with Government and donors in the State
  2. Responsible for supervising the development and execution of project deliverables, lead project planning, budgeting, action plans and monitoring process with regard to the programme.
  3. Administer the Programme on a daily basis at the State level
  4. Lead Networking and Coalition building efforts under GSF at the State level
  5. Support Programme Officers and Co-ordinate inputs of the Programme Officers
  6. Be responsible for Programme outputs at the State level
  7. Be responsible for support to Sub Grantees on achieving progress and results
  8. Undertake Periodic Reviews, make field visits and provide orientation and guidance to Sub Grantee Staff
  9. Actively following-up for the timely compilation and submission of reports to donors, management and other stakeholders;
  10. Assembling materials or reports for distribution and also, preparing reports from multiple sources or information
  11. Coordinating high level meetings, including all logistics, other arrangements and required documentation as well as documenting and circulating minutes of the meetings
  12. Performing all related duties as assigned by the Team Leader.

Eligibility:

  1. Professional with experience of 10 years and more in the development sector.
  2. Should be fully versed in programme management, relationship management, capacity evaluation, facilitation and the drafting of project proposals
  3. A demonstrable track record of meeting targets from trusts, foundations and statutory donors.
  4. Have a good track of donor networking.
  5. Have extensive experience of working with group of donors like PSUs, Private and Multilateral.
  6. Excellent English writing and communication skills required.
