Since over 40 years Welthungerhilfe, with its headquarters in Germany (www.welthungerhilfe.de), supports civil society partner organizations in rural India, at present more than 45 project partners in nine states (www.welthungerhilfesouthasia.org ).
Job Description:
Context- The incumbent will assist in the development and monitoring of a programme on governance systems. He/she will be specifically in charge of a European Commission co-funded “Initiative for transparent and accountable governance systems in Jharkhand” starting in January 2014. The project goal is to contribute to social inclusion and reduced poverty through improved public services and programs in selected districts of Jharkhand, India. It aims to improve quality, coverage and access to information regarding public services in education, health & nutrition, and rural employment in four Blocks of Jharkhand.
