Various Vacancies at National Bureau of Soil Survey & Land Use Planning

Job Title: National Bureau of Soil Survey & Land Use Planning (NBSS&LUP), Nagpur invited application for recruitment to the post of LDC, Skilled Supporting Staff & T-1 (Field Assistant). The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format on or before 4 November 2013.

Company profile:

The NBSS&LUP is one among the chain of ICAR Institutes. Government of India established All India Soil Survey Organisation in 1956 with the Headquarters at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute Nagpur with five Regional Soil Correlation Centres at Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Jorhat and Udaipur. In 1976 it became an independent Institute of ICAR named as National Bureau of Soil Survey and Land Use Planning.

Name of the Posts:

  1. Lower Division Clerks: 5 Posts
  2. Skilled Supporting Staff: 9 Posts
  3. T-1 (Field Assistant): 3 Posts

Total Number of posts:  17 posts

Age Limit

  1. Lower Division Clerks: Candidate age should be between 18 to 27 years as on the closing date.
  2. Skilled Supporting Staff: Candidate age should be between 18 to 25 years as on the closing date.
  3. T-1 (Field Assistant): Candidate age should be between 18 to 30 years as on the closing date.

Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification

  1. Lower Division Clerks: 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University with typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.
  2. Skilled Supporting Staff: 10th Class or equivalent examination or ITI pass.
  3. T-1 (Field Assistant): 10th Class passed with at least 1 year trade certificate in Agriculture from a recognized Institution.

Pay Scale

  1. Lower Division Clerks: Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1,900
  2. Skilled Supporting Staff: Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1,800
  3. T-1 (Field Assistant): Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on the performance in written test and interview.
