Organization’s profile:

The approved GOI-UNDP Country Programme Action Plan (2014-2017) envisages that as a contribution to the programme, Government sharing and support arrangements, including the use of service-provision models, will be pursued, and the appointment of dedicated human resources can be made for the implementation of nationally implemented projects. It also envisages provision of demand based development support services to support administrative efficiency and to develop capacity of the government agencies.

Job Description:

Provide training to both both fresh and refresher at all level for various functionaries, technical support in reviewing and designing curriculum for training manuals, help in maintaining a database of trainers and other resource persons, manage roster of trainers, trainees and system for nomination officers for various state and national training programmes, facilitate dissemination and exchange of expertise in the concerned field, develop a training section on website, to allow easy access to information, materials and guidance on disaster risk reduction.

Eligibility:

University Degree in any of the disciplines under Social Sciences, Management, Disaster Management and/or relevant fields and five years of experience, knowledge of disaster management. Package is INR 55,975 per month.
