New solar plant by NTPC near Faridabad

A 5MW solar project is being setup by NTPC in Jhajru village near Faridabad.

This plant will generate 7.437 million units of electricity annually. The plant being solar in eco-friendly and will not cause pollution. Learn more about various solar technologies here

Renewable energy is being exploited now by many nations to bring about their energy transformation and secure its energy requirements. Out of the renewable technologies available, solar energy is most abundantly available and is also environmentally friendly.

NTPC is one of India’s largest power company was set up in 1975.

NTPC has already commissioned two 5 MW Solar PV projects each at Dadri and Port Blair. Further, presently 85 MW Solar PV projects are under implementation. NTPC already has Projects two 5MW solar projects each in Dadri (UP) and Portblair ) Andaman and Nicobar Islands). The company also has 35MW capacity projects under implementation stage.
