One post-doctoral researcher position at Max Planck Institute for Ornithology

Job Title: One post-doctoral researcher in full-time to study the dynamics of auditory-guided behavior in echolocating bats.

The Max Planck Institute for Ornithology is an internationally renowned research institution working in the fields of Behavioural Neurobiology, Behavioural Ecology, Evolutionary Biology, Eco-Immunology and Migration. At two locations, more than 200 employees work in three departments and eight research groups.

Description:

This research program aims at understanding the strategies of echolocating bats for generating, perceiving, and reacting to dynamic auditory scenes.

Eligibility:

PhD in science with strong background in bat biology and the sensory ecology of echolocation and a proven record of performing top quality research.

The current position is initially available for two years with the possibility for renewal for another three years.
