The Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Life Science at the University of Copenhagen is offering a PhD Scholarship in the area of “Using precision row cropping to combine cover crops and weed management in organic cereal production.”

Job Description:

In organic cereal production cover crops/green manure crops are very important for the maintenance of soil fertility, but the need for growing cover crops conflict with the need for mechanical weed control in the autumn.

Eligibility: Master´s degree, professional qualifications relevant to the PhD programme, previous publications, relevant work experience and other professional activities and marks obtained during master degree.
