The Institute of Social Trust, New Delhi is seeking to appoint a Research Analyst to work on a project on social protection and home based workers in South Asia.
Job Description:
The position involves desk based research, and field work (with travel within South Asia). It further involves conducting research on social protection, writing reports, and other outputs such as policy briefs, organizing workshops, and presenting and disseminating work as required.
The appointment will be for 12 months, with a salary of up to 6 lakhs per annum based on experience.
Eligibility:
The successful candidate will have an MPhil /Ph.D. in Social Studies or other relevant disciplines, with 2-3 years of work and/or research experience on social protection and/or informal workers. (Fresh PhD’s in relevant disciplines may also apply). The candidate should have excellent writing and research skills. Credit will be given for evidence of independent research, and publications.
