Central Institute of Brackish water Aquaculture (CIBA), has been identified as one of the high potential areas for increasing fish and shellfish production and for deriving maximum economic and social benefits such as better utilization of unproductive and marginally productive coastal lands, swamps and brackishwater bodies, augmenting production for export and foreign exchange earnings, support to food security systems, establishment of ancillary industries, generation of employment and improving the socio-economic conditions of rural poor.

Job Description:

Central Institute of Brackish water Aquaculture (CIBA) is conducting walk-in interviews for the post of Research Associate in Environmental Science. Salary is Rs.24,000/- p.m. + 30 % HRA for Ph.D. holders / Rs.23,000/- p.m. + 30 % HRA for Master’s Degree holders.

Eligibility:

Ph.D. (or) M.Sc. / M.Phil (Chemistry / Environmental Science / Climate Change) / M.Sc. (Agriculture / Soil Science / Agricultural Chemistry) with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with atleast two years of research experience in the relevant subject. Good communication skills.

Candidates may come for the walk-in-interview with original Degree Certificates, passport size photograph, bio-data enclosing attested copies of educational qualification and experience certificates. Walk-in interview will be held on Saturday, 24th May 2014 at 10.30 a.m.
