Job Description:

  1. Will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the programme function and steering the efforts of the various organs of ActionAid India in achieving the objectives of the Country Strategy Paper.
  2. Coordinate and support the unit and regions on strategic exercises such as annual reviews, project appraisals, internal audit etc.
  3. Support the programme planning, budgeting and monitoring process for all short term and long term initiatives.
  4. Promote cross learning and sharing and thereby build micro-macro linkages in order to continuously enhance programme quality and impact.
  5. Ensure that all mandatory reporting requirements at national, regional and international levels are fulfilled as per the timelines.
  6. Map and strategize the Resource Allocation and Utilization across all social groups and themes.
  7. Support the Unit’s MIS (database) for efficient programme management for both short-term and long-term initiatives.
  8. Build linkages with various civil society organizations, eminent social activists, academicians and government authorities.

Eligibility:

  1. have Post Graduate degree in Social Work/Social Sciences/Rural Development/Management or its equivalent.
  2. have 8-10 years of relevant experience in planning, budgeting, implementing, monitoring and evaluating development projects.
  3. possess strong leadership and administrative skills, capable of leading a team of development professionals.
  4. have strong positive attitude and skills to liaise and network with social movements, campaign groups, Civil Society groups, NGOs, INGOs, Government and other agencies.
  5. should be gender sensitive and have conviction and skills for the empowerment of the marginalized and excluded social groups

Salary & Benefits- Approx – INR  9 Lakhs CTC– per annum approximately – this includes PF contribution.
