Job Title: Sr. Manager – Operation, Aga Khan Rural Support Programme(India)

Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (India) is a non-denominational, non-government organization.

AKRSP (I) was established in Gujarat in 1984 and it seeks to contribute to rural poverty reduction through community involvement and empowerment that leads to the efficient management and improved productivity of natural resources.

Job Description:

  1. Responsible for meeting the deliverables in time bound manner in various projects implemented in Madhya Pradesh by AKRSP (I).
  2. Liaison with government agencies & Donors.
  3. Develop strategic plan for agriculture projects

Eligibility:

Education: MBA with Agriculture or Agriculture Engineering as graduation

Experience: nearly 10 years in managing large scale NRM and agriculture livelihood related projects.

Skills & Competencies required:

  1. Experience in larger NGOs would be required
  2. Watersheds, Agriculture, Livestock related technical skills required
  3. managing projects and bigger teams, government liaison skills are required
  4. Must be fluent in English & Hindi language
  5. Good basic computer skill & team management skill
