The GoI-UNDP project on “Strengthening Climate Change Sensitive Planning” aims at building and strengthening the capacities at the national and state levels to address climate change issues. One of the major activities to be undertaken under this project is facilitating the preparation and the implementation of the State Action Plans and Strategies for addressing Climate Change.
Job Description:
Provide technical assistance and advisory support to the State Environment and Climate Change Department in implementation of the State Action Plan on Climate Change (SAPCC) and coordinating capacity building activities at the state level under the UNDP-KILA (Kerala Institute for Local Administration) partnership. The Project Officer will work under the guidance of UNDP Climate Change Advisor.
Eligibility:
Master degree in Environmental Studies/ Energy Studies/ Agriculture/ Natural Resources/climate Change or related field and 3-4 years of experience.
