No of Posts: 1post

Emoluments: Rs. 14000 + HRA (fixed)

Qualifications: M.Sc. in Agriculture / Botany / Life Science with 2 years of research experience and specialization in plant pathology / plant breeding and genetics / biotechnology / microbiology / taxonomy

b. Name of the Post: JRF

No of Posts: 1 post

Emoluments: Rs. 12000 + HRA (for first 3 years)

 Rs. 14000 + HRA (from 4th year)

Qualifications: M.Sc. in Agriculture / Botany / Life Science

2. Name of the Project: “Morinda citrifolia L. (Noni) – livelihood option for the people of North East India”

No of Posts: 1 post

Emoluments: Rs. 12000 + HRA (for first 2 years)

Qualifications: M.Sc. in Botany / Life Science / Forestry / Agriculture

b. Name of the Post: FA

No of Posts: 1 post

Emoluments: Rs. 7000 (consolidated)

Qualifications: B.Sc. in Botany / Biochemistry / Chemistry / Biotechnology as an elective subject

(Candidates selected for project 2 will be required to travel to Mizoram and Tripura for monitoring purpose)

Age limit(as on 8 November 2013)

For SRF: 32 years,

For JRF & FA: 28 years

Upper age limit is relax-able up to 5 years for SC / ST / Women candidates and up to 3 years for OBC candidates.
