The organizations’ strategy is to empower the vulnerable sections of the society by building up their capacities through education, health and livelihood improvement. GIDF is working for the cause of human development focusing on the less privileged sections of the society in the rural & urban areas of the country. The spheres of GIDF’s work are governed by issues related to Health, Education, Livelihood and Environment.

The organisation is initiating a Gender Resource Center- Samajik Suvidha Sangam an initiative of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi(GNCTD) aimed at social justice, equity and empowerment of the marginalized and underprivileged sections of society leading to inclusive growth and all round development.

Job Description:

  1. Responsible for day to day operations of the GRC-SK
  2. Guidance to staff of GRC-SK
  3. Managing the data entry operations
  4. Checking the documents submitted by the beneficiaries
  5. Compilation of data t GRC-SK, submission of documents to Project Coordinator
  6. Analyses various performance indicators
  7. Identifies vulnerable population with active community outreach
  8. Compiles data, prepares documents for submission to DRC, MNGO and other government agencies
  9. Supervises all components on a daily basis
  10. Coordinates with DC office/DRC/MNGO and PMU-SSS, and attends all meetings conducted by them
  11. Is responsible for supervising and maintenance of all records (paper records and the website) including minutes of meetings, registers, etc
  12. Ensures maintenance of proper financial records by the NGO’s accountant.
  13. Informs and provides feedback to DRC/MNGO/PMU-SSS about bottlenecks and new initiatives
  14. Submits reports, updates, status reports and other required documents in timely manner as per the requirements of the PMU-SSS, MNGO, DRC, DC office
  15. Is the main contact person for the PMU-SSS for routine GRC-SK related matters

Eligibility:

  1. Development professional with masters degree in Social Work/Rural Development/ Rural Management from reputable institutions or Graduate with minimum 3 years of work experience.
  2. At least 2-3 years of progressive exposure to programme management in community based development programmes.
  3. Have a thorough knowledge, understanding and experience of working with the rural and urban poor community in the context of livelihoods, enterprise development and food security.
  4. Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English; ability to speak, read and write fluently in both languages.
  5. Good computer skills, especially the use of MS-Office application software (MS Word, Excel, Power Point).
  6. Proven analytical, documentation and report writing skill.
  7. Strong commitment to helping the poor and marginalized sectors of our society
