GreenCleanGuide.com (GCG) is looking for students who are interested in writing about the environment and clean energy sector. The position is perfect for a student pursuing graduation or a freelance professional looking for an interesting assignment. This is a paid internship and comes with a monthly stipend (INR 3000). The location is not a strict determinant in selection and we will allow flexibility in work timings. You can even work from any remote location in India. All you need is great writing skills and good research aptitude.
What we are looking for-
Great writing skills. That goes without saying. If you are a grammar nazi, then you are perfect for the role. Typically, you would be required to write a minimum of 1000 words every alternate day (this translates to 15 articles a month). The articles will have a standard format and outline but you will be required to carry out necessary research from the internet. So ensure that you have a stable internet connection and you are always online either through mail or through WhatsApp (for communication).
The internship is offered for a period of two months. This is an ideal position for fresh graduates/ currently pursuing graduation.
A first class Masters/ Bachelors degree in Journalism/ Literature/ Mass Communication/ Copy writing/ Creative writing is desired. However, we won’t decide solely on the basis of paper degrees and even if you are a dropout, feel free to drop us an email. The basic criterion will be the quality of your writing. GCG has a zero tolerance policy for plagiarism and you will need to write original content with references.
What you get-
Be a part of the GCG family. We are just starting out and what started as a simple college project has transformed into something much bigger. You will learn a lot about the sustainability sector and the green space which is just beginning to expand in South Asia.
All articles will be published in your name along with your mug and bio. You will also get the freedom to incorporate some of your own ideas and can write articles on your favourite niches. Please read a few blog posts first to get an idea of the kind of writing that we are looking for.
How to apply-
Send us an email with a detailed resume (with a list of published articles/ research papers on blogs or websites/ journals along with links if any) and contact details. The applicant will be first contacted through phone or mail and this will be followed through with a skype or personal interview (depending on your location). You may be asked to write a sample article for further evaluation.
