Job Title: Programme Coordinator – Tourism Resource Centre

Location: Banaglore

Company profile: EQUATIONS is an advocacy and campaigns organisation working on impacts of tourism. We have been obsessed with the question: Who Really Benefits from Tourism? Job Description:

  1. Managing and supervising of the documentation centre
  2. Information collection, analysis and dissemination on a wide range of issues, in a timely manner
  3. Networking with media and writing media articles at regular intervals
  4. Managing and Updating the Website
  5. Working on / supporting new areas of research
  6. Supporting EQUATIONS programmes on research, capacity building, campaigns and advocacy
  7. Assist in developing and implementation of a communication and media strategy

If you have the energy and desire to work on tourism issues, have excellent analytical and communication skills, enjoy multi-tasking, are willing to travel, we would be very keen to hear from you! Work experience in the development sector particularly in advocacy, research and networking will be important. Sharing our vision and values will be critical. Fluency with more than one Indian language will be valued.

Eligibility: Graduates (from any discipline) with work experience of at least 2-4 years, with computer skills and a definite interest in information-management, dissemination, research and communication.

How to apply: Please send your CV to detailing your experience, qualifications and telling us why you think you are suitable for this job.
