The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at South Dakota School of Mines & Technology (SDSM&T) seeks a highly motivated student to join as a PhD graduate research assistant for our new doctoral program proposed to start in Fall 2014.

Job Description:

The candidate will have an opportunity to work on fundamental and practical aspects of emerging bioelectrochemical technologies, application of nanocomposites in environmental engineering applications, bioenergy production from solid organic wastes, innovative approaches for water reuse in power plants and life cycle assessment for water reuse in power plants.

Eligibility:

M.S. in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, or Microbiology, with an emphasis on waste-to-energy conversion technologies, and meet SDS M&T graduate school requirements.
