The all-new electric car was uncovered under the Mission E moniker at the 2015  Frankfurt Motor Show, but it is not assumed to rock the market until the end of 2019.

The Taycan is all set to enter the market as one of the most high-tech powertrains that are used on an electric car yet. The brand new J1 architecture has extreme great features like fast charging to 80% in just 15 minutes and many more. 800V charging technology is also a feature of this brand’s first EV and this is designed to future-proof the car after it enters the electric car for many years.

The Taycan’s new powertrain will be so efficient that it will let the electric car to run from 0 to 60 miles per hour that too only in 3.5 seconds and will produce more than 600 horsepower. Not only this,  in just less than 12 seconds, it will go to 124 mph on the track.

The company also told that based on measurements from the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC), this brand’s vehicle battery will have the power to travel around 300 miles that too on a single charge. In Porsche’s portfolio, this four-door all-electric sports car is planned to be placed between the Panamera and the 911.

The floor mounted batteries of Taycan give a notably low centre of gravity that allows hunkered-down handling. With all these things, it becomes relative to the more focused performance machines.

At the Mission E Cross Turismo, which is this year’s Geneva Motor Show, Porsche introduced its first electric car and referred it as the Mission E and also began a concept crossover version.

According to Autocar, it is expected that many autonomous features will appear on the car, but not completely independent driving will be there. The introduction of this feature will improve the safety of the car. Talking about the design, the Taycan is a four-door saloon and coupe design cues have been incorporated in its styling. Design includes low roofline that slowly comes downward at the rear.

All the look of this vehicle has appeared in only concept form and the testing camouflage was uncovered, so it’s a mystery for all the fans that how this car will look like, which will be disclosed on its arrival next year most probably.

According to a magazine, it is revealed that the Taycan’s batteries will be placed on the floor, i.e., below the passengers and the driver alike the current crop of battery-powered electric cars. An astonishingly low centre of gravity is provided by the car which boosts handling and opens more opportunities for occupants in the cabin.
