Job Title: Researcher (Agronomy or Agrometeorology), Watershed Organisation Trust (WOTR)

WOTR is a not-for-profit NGO founded in 1993 operating currently in five 6 Indian states – Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Odisha. WOTR provides capacity building and advisory services to developmental practitioners from 27 other Indian states as well as, occasionally, from 62 countries.

Job Description:

The officer would develop crop and weather specific advisories, coordinate delivery of agro meteorological products and services (information, warnings, and advisories) to farmers and feedback response. The job entails frequent travel.

Eligibility:

M.Sc. in Agronomy/ Ph. D in Agronomy OR Agro meteorology with minimum 5-6 years of experience.
