Job Description:
Research work related to wetland birds and bird migration studies at Bird Migration Study Centre in Point Calimere, Tamil Nadu. Report writing and scientific publication. The candidate should also be willing to carry out field work in any part of India. Opportunities for research range from wetland ecology and bird migration through bird ringing and satellite tracking. The candidate will be expected to prepare reports and scientific publications.
Eligibility:
Masters or Bachelor degree , in a relevant sector such as Biodiversity, Environmental Studies, Ecology, Life Sciences, or Wildlife Science. Keen interest in bird migration study. Proficiency in data analysis, word processing and other computer applications such as Excel and Powerpoint is desirable.
