IIT Bombay is undertaking a project in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering. The Project 13SOUL001 is on “Localisation of Solar Energy Through Local Assembly, Sale & Usage of One Million Solar Study Lamps by IIT Bombay” (1 Million Solar Urja Lamp). The position is temporary and initially for a period of 1 Year and tenable only for the duration of the project.

Job Description:

Coordinate with NGOs and other district partners. Maintain stock inventory at NGO and district level. Monitoring Raw material supply and assembly process, monitoring R&M Partners, tour across district to monitor the smooth flow of project implementation. Training to local rural community in rural locations and any other job related to project. Salary- 21k to 31k consolidated.

Eligibility:

MA with M Phil and preferrably more than 3 years experience in a rural project at block levels of Maharashtra/Madhya Pradesh. Knowledge of computer applications and proficiency in written and oral English communication skills.
