Maruti Suzuki showcased “e-SURVIVOR Concept”
|An “e-SURVIVOR Concept” was showcased by Maruti Suzuki today, which is based on EV design concept and this is the working model of next-generation Suzuki Hybrid system (HEV).

e-SURVIVOR is a concept that illustrates the efforts of Maruti Suzuki that drives electric mobility and reflects a futuristic and innovative of Maruti Suzuki.
It is a design concept that aims at a compact SUV that is a form of tribute to Suzuki’s proud 4WD heritage. It drives the excitement of driving to a whole new next level and it will also provide a new Off-Roading experience.
Apart from this, this e-SURVIVOR represents the exciting and new face of Suzuki’s plan for future mobility. This concept includes all future possibilities that are Autonomous, Electric, Four-Wheel Drive, and Connected.

e-SURVIVOR has a unique exterior styling and has some of the distinctive features of its Suzuki 4WD DNA.
e-SURVIVOR has a very lightweight compact body and a ladder frame, which provides a very good durability and gives an awesome outstanding drivability on rugged roads.
This e-SURVIVOR gives a new driving fun experience that combines the high ground-covering capability that gives a good acceleration and powerful torque on various roads.
Besides carrying the 4WD Suzuki’s heritage, but also adds new possibilities with its electric four-wheel drive. The motors give a very proper control of the wheels that too vary with road or driving conditions. This gives on-the-spot turning and more mobility movements that were previously not possible with conventional 4WDs.
The e-SURVIVOR is provided with self-sufficient driving capabilities. This also has the feature to be switched at any time to manual mode for off-road driving. Suzuki Next-Gen Hybrid Technology: Road to full electrification
Maruti Suzuki will accomplish on order of xEV technologies to develop clean solutions for India. This was to stimulate the electrification of powertrains in India. In 2018, at the Auto Expo exhibition- The Suzuki Hybrid system displayed signifies an essential part of the Maruti Suzuki vision of greener mobility.
A working model of the next generation Suzuki Hybrid system (HEV) was showcased on the Maruti Suzuki pavilion. This next generation hybrid system has high efficiency and low emission rate, which gives superior driving performance and acceleration.
This demonstrated the Suzuki Hybrid system would reduce emissions and fuel consumption that is a part of the market not broadcasted by EVs.
This working model uses a combination of drawing energy from petroleum fuels and Li-ion battery and the conventional engine and electric motor to power the wheels and gives multiple benefits of reduction in emission and energy security.
